We have a meeting with your clinical team to discuss what features and settings will work best for your organisation. This will resolve any potential differences between your current processes and the default Kindly process.
Once you sign the contract, Kindly will configure the system to meet your needs. This will usually take two weeks.
After we have customised Kindly, your ‘super-users’ will be invited to attend training sessions to familiarise themselves with the system and ask any questions.
Time to test the system out! We recommend each staff member be given a few residents to transfer across to Kindly, to give them the opportunity to learn the system before Go Live day.
Alternatively, you can simply save the resident’s transfer documents into Kindly, so only essential information needs to be transferred.
During your Go Live day(s) the Kindly team are on standby to help with any problems you may encounter. We also have an optional service where we can attend onsite for an additional charge.
Usually, the first two days come with a lot of questions, after that you should be good to go!
We also like to pre-schedule meetings at the end of your first week and first month so that we can make sure you are getting the most out of the system. This is a great time to teach you all the short-cuts and make any final tweaks.
Pre-training quiz to test your HCA's knowledge before or after your training. Great way to quickly highlight any learning gaps.
Pre-training quiz to test your Registered Nurses' knowledge before or after your training sessions.
We recommend that you invite your most senior users and staff that are confident in technology to your training sessions. This will help ensure that the session is productive and that there is ample opportunity for questions and discussion. Small groups are usually best for keeping the session focused and maximizing participation.
Kindly is a cloud-based system, which means it can be accessed through any standard internet browser.
To access Kindly, we will provide you with a unique link for your specific organization. Simply enter this link into your internet browser and log in with your Kindly account credentials.
In order to successfully implement Kindly, you will need to provide the following:
We recommend transferring important resident information such as the resident summary, admission documents, advance directives, and any other relevant documents.
These can be conveniently uploaded as documents and saved against the resident profile to avoid a large amount of data entry when you first change systems.
The premium implementation package includes system setup, a 30-minute project meeting with the Kindly team to answer questions, three two-hour training sessions with a Kindly trained clinical expert, telephone support during your first two days when going live, and a one-hour review session at the end of your first month on Kindly.
Yes, you can schedule additional training sessions at any time. However, please note that these sessions will come at an additional charge.
The most important factor for a successful Kindly implementation is active participation from the senior team. While the premium package includes system setup, training sessions, and support, it is essential that the senior team leads the implementation effort.
If the senior team is not onboard and actively participating, it can make the implementation unnecessarily difficult and hinder staff engagement. The senior team sets the tone for the rest of the organization and their support and leadership is critical for a successful Kindly implementation.
In addition to the Kindly training, you have access to a range of online resources to help learn the system. This includes training quizzes, a knowledge base, and some overview short videos. These resources are designed to help you get the most out of the Kindly system and enhance your knowledge of its features and functionality.
The warranty period for the Kindly system is 60 days. If you experience any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance.
